Looks like parts of our house! When we bought our home, a couple of the rooms had wallpaper that had the texture of carpet (I had never seen that before!). It didn't take long before those rooms had fluffy balls all suspiciously at the height of a stretched out cat! :-)
Wow I never saw that kind of wallpaper
fluffy balls all suspiciously at the height of a stretched out cat! :-) lol!!!!!!! I can just imagine!
The little carpet thingies are everywhere, and get tracked all over the place.

*sigh* The downside of having cats. Ever think of safety pinning a thick layer of towels over their favorite spots? Just remove them if company's coming? ;-)

Cats are great!
I laughed when I saw all the threads, thinking What an artist Sweetie is, how perfectly exposed the stuffing. They are great! But I'm getting a sofa re-upholstered and want to nip this thing in the bud.
Oh...and to say nothing of the bunny propensity for chewing... Gotta love'em!
That's a great idea, except that Sweetie is up all night, tearing around and would pull the towels off in minutes--he's very wild.

I honeslty don't mind, and everyone I know is either a cat person or thinks the whole thing is funny, or both.
Oh, gosh -- new material to attack!! Yes, I can see why you'd be concerned.
Bunnnneeeeez!!! I didn't think of those little teeth! Wow, I've got some dandy places here for a bunny to gnaw on!
Hmmm...there must be something sketchy about that China Closet...hmm...
lol -- I know -- I've looked in and under and behind it -- nothing. And it's only that one spot. He FLIES at it! Claws out, attacking.
Baffling.
Well...it's true that cats have a thing about doors being closed...maybe he's insisting that you open it....HA! So he can go in there and break shit.
That could be it, except that there's a door on the other side, exactly the same, that he ignores. It's so strange. One door infuriates him and the other doesn't!
He also attacks the dining room table, but the leaves flap and make noise when he jumps at them so they're not as scratched. He's a wild cat. Wonderful, but wild.
sounds like it!
He yowls and runs and slams into windows (he's INSIDE) all night -- it's like living in a nature documentary, on nocturnal predators!
Maybe it's his name. Cats like to be contrary, so maybe he's being the polar opposite of "Sweetie." You could try renaming him. Something like Attila the Hun...
LMHO!!! Killer! The Shredder!

Don't even get me started on speakers - we had some nice ones when I was a kid and my mom used to point to the shredded covers and say, "Pokey". (our first cat!)
